Maria Sole, also known as Mara Vittoria Solinas is an Italian actress and singer-songwriter with a unique style. She started her career as an actress, and in the late '70s, under the name Maria Sole, she performed many opera shows with experimental and surreal lyrics, leaving a legacy as a singer-songwriter. This 1981 album also features chanson, synth pop, avant-pop, folk rock, giving a glimpse into her worldview. Compared to her other works, it has a more danceable feel. The B-side in particular is surreal and highly recommended. This woman is truly entertaining.
イタリアの個性派女優/SSW Mara Vittoria SolinasことMaria Sole。女優としてキャリアをスタートし、70年代後半にはMaria Sole名義にて実験的でシュールな歌詞の歌劇ショーを数多く上演しシンガーソングライターとして作品を残しています。本作でも彼女の世界観を覗き込むようなシャンソン、シンセポップ、アヴァンポップ、フォークロックまでを収録。他の作品と比べてもダンサンブルな印象。特にB面はユーモアでオススメ。やっぱりこの人は面白い。
