Tape:NM (played once, opened from dead stock copy)
American composer Marden Pond. He has been active as a music teacher, writer, and composer in a wide variety of fields, and in music production, he released a work in 1980 that is considered a phantom piece for some freaks, and still active even now, left a new release last year, as a result his past works are quietly attracting attention. This is a cassette tape work in 1986, probably released privately. Total12 tracks range from minimal, electronics, jazz improvisation, homemade music, wired free music. Recommend to listen from "Lopsided Waltz" a home-recording style, snarky waltz tune filled with a strange floating sensation, minimal tune "Calimba" that uses a kalimba?!, and "Prism" which moves from new age sounds to soft synth sounds. Highly recommended for those who like World Standard and Tanoshii Ongaku. Smashing!
