1989 released album by Magnum Band, a band formed in Miami in the 70's led by the Pasquet brothers. As you can see from the band's history of more than 10 years of activity, the songs are not only danceable, also pleasant tracks with tropical and Balearic elements. Two of the highlights are "Hello" a Balearic compa with flowing sweet vocals and medium rhythms, and "Cosmik" a mid-compa with cosmic feel, just as the title suggests. Besides that, it contains dance songs rich in exhilarating vibes. No wonder it's popular to DJs.

70年代にPasquet兄弟を中心に米マイアミで結成されたコンパバンドMagnum Bandの89年作。10年以上の活動履歴を見るようにダンサンブルな曲だけではなくトロピカルやバレアリック要素を多分に含んだ気持ちいい楽曲群。中でも流れるような甘いヴォーカルとミディアムなリズムがたまらないバレアリック・コンパ”Hello”、タイトル通りのコズミック感覚のミッド・コンパ”Cosmik”の2曲がハイライト。それ以外も爽快なバイブスに富んだダンサンブルな曲が並びます。DJにも人気なのも頷けます。
