This album features Leda Valladares, a singer-songwriter, poet, and folklorist born in northern Argentina who dedicated her life to unearthing and developing folklore music, and María Elena Walsh, a versatile artist known primarily for children's literature but also active as a lyricist and screenwriter for stage and film. Released in 1957, this record features songs from northern Argentina performed by "Leda y María," the folklore duo the two formed in the early 1950s. It features 12 tracks performed with a one-of-a-kind voice that touches the soul. Just magnificent. While there are some scattered scuffs and marks due to age, no skipping, and the playback quality is generally good. Recorded several samples, so please listen to them to confirm.
アルゼンチン北部に生まれ民族音楽の発掘/発展に生涯を捧げ、詩人や民俗学者の顔も持つ歌手/ソングライターLeda Valladaresと主に児童文学の作品で知られ、作詞家や舞台・映画の脚本も手掛けるなど幅広い活動で知られるMaría Elena Walsh。本作はその二人により50年代初頭に結成されたフォルクローレ・デュオLeda Y María名義によるアルゼンチン北部に伝わる楽曲を収録した57年の作品。魂で聴く唯一無二の歌声で聞かせる全12曲を収録。ただただ素晴らしいです。経年の擦れやマーク散見しますが、ジャンプなどはなく再生まずまずのところだと思います。視聴多く録ってますので確認お願いします。
