Born in northern Argentina, singer/songwriter Leda Valladares is also a poet and folklorist who has dedicated her life to discovering and developing folklore. She continues to have a major influence today, as evidenced by her work on the tradition-inspired compilation "Grito En El Cielo," featuring Pedro Aznar, Fito Páez, and Liliana Herrero, and the current scene's tributes to her work. This 1976 album is a compilation of performances from various locations. It features 12 songs woven together with a tasteful vocal, performances and rhythms that seem to become one with nature. It stands as one of her most beloved works, destined to be sung for generations to come. Great condition. The edges of the jacket are difficult to see, but they have been repaired with tape.
アルゼンチン北部に生まれ民族音楽の発掘/発展に生涯を捧げ、詩人や民俗学者の顔も持つ歌手/ソングライターLeda Valladares。彼女が手掛けたPedro Aznar, Fito Páez, Liliana Herreroが参加した伝統にインスピレーションを得たコンピレーション”Grito En El Cielo”や現代シーンでもトリビュートされるなど現在も大きな影響を与えています。この76年作は各地での演奏をまとめた作品集。鬼気迫るような魂の歌唱、自然と一体となるような演奏とリズムで紡がれる全12曲を収録。特にB面の流れが圧巻。未来へ歌い継がれる彼女の作品でもひときわ人気を得ているひとつです。コンデション悪いものも多いですが良好な部類と思います。ジャケットはわかりずらいですが周りがテープ補修されています。
