A live album originally released on cassette in 1994, featuring the renowned Uruguayan vocalist Laura Canoura and international musician Hugo Fattoruso. It contains 19 tracks spanning a wide repertoire from tango, bossa nova, and jazz to popular music that reflects the duo's musical journey. The flow from the passionate cover of “Tu” by tango master José María Contursi to “Así Como Ayer” composed by Hugo, and on through to the finale which includes tracks by Mauricio Ubal and the Magnone brothers, is simply incredible. Canoura’s vocal versatility across genres is remarkable, perfectly complemented by Hugo’s magical synthesizer work. This must deserve to be heard by a wider audience.
ウルグアイを代表する歌い手Laura Canouraと音楽家Hugo Fattorusoによる94年のライブ盤カセットリリース。タンゴ、ボサノバ、ジャズ、ポピュラー音楽まで二人の歩みを現すような幅広いレパートリーの全19曲を収録。特にタンゴの巨匠José María Contursiの熱きカバー”Tu"からHugo作曲"Así Como Ayer"にMauricio UbalやMagnone兄弟の楽曲を含むラストまでの流れが凄いです。どんなジャンルも歌いこなすような歌唱にHugoのマジカルなシンセ使いも圧巻。これはもっと聞かれるべき作品と思います。
