A collection of clarinetist Koichi Inamoto's jazz arrangements of traditional Min-Yō songs from various parts of Japan. The clear tones of the clarinet are played with the piano, electronic tone, and synth to create an exquisite harmony of jazz, ambient, new age, classical, and traditional Japanese melodies. As written on the obi, it contains a group of interesting tracks that are trulyMin-Yō, but are not Min-Yō. In particular, the original song "Min-Yō" has a wonderful sound.

クラリネット奏者稲本耕一が日本各地に伝わる伝統民謡をジャズにアレンジした演奏集。クラリネットのクリアな音色がピアノ、エレクトーン、シンセと共に演奏される事によりジャズ、アンビエント、ニューエイジ、クラシカル、日本の伝統的な旋律が混ざり合い絶妙なハーモニーを奏でています。帯に記されているよう正に民謡であって民謡でない興味深い楽曲群を収録しています。特にオリジナル曲であるその名も”Min-Yō”は素晴らしい響きに溢れています。
