Although it’s called an ensemble, it’s actually a one-man ensemble in which he has layered recordings of his own performances ranging from percussion instruments like the marimba, tabla, and bongos to ethnic instruments such as the tambura and saz, as well as electronic sounds, samples, and all sorts of odds and ends. The concept is described as “imaginarium mood music” that stimulates the visual senses.
