1992 cassette release by Khorus, a folklore fusion group from the province of Chaco in northern Argentina. This album was released after Litto Nebbia participated in the recording through his trusted percussionist Cacho Bernal (who he also collaborated with on the 2017 album). It contains 7 tracks that combine jazz, folklore, and modern elements, which is exactly why it was released by Melopea. Particularly excellent are "Claropatia" which stands out for smooth and varying tempo development of each performance, and the folklore jazz "El Espejo" which exudes a sense of indigenous sophistication. This once again demonstrates the greatness of Melopea, which features a lineup ranging from virtuoso performers such as Jorge López Ruiz, Alberto Favero, and Mono Fontana to regional groups.
アルゼンチン北に位置するチャコ州のフォルクローレ・フュージョン・グループKhorusによる92年のカセットリリース。Litto Nebbiaが信頼を置くパーカッショ二ストCacho Bernal (2017年作でも共演)を通じてレコーディング等に参加した経緯でリリースに至った作品。正にMelopeaからのリリースも頷けるジャズ、フォルクローレ、モダンな要素が組み合わされた全7曲を収録。中でも緩急をつけながら流れるように展開していく各人の演奏も際立った”Claropatia"と土着と洗練を感じさせるフォルクローレ・ジャズ”El Espejo"は特に絶品です。Jorge López Ruiz, Alberto Favero, Mono Fontanaに代表される名手から先鋭的なローカルグループまでリリースするMelopeaの凄みを改めて感じます。
