Trinidadian music Rapso, a hybrid of soca and rap, developed out of social unrest in the 1970s. This is a solo name work of Rapso by Karega Mandela, a member of the Brother Resistance family. Backing the band are of course the core members of Brother Resistance, including the Network Riddum Band, Steve Jemmot, Derek 'Benny King' Jones, etc. The highlight of the album is "We ha to do it" on the A-side, with its steelpan tone, eerie cosmic overtones, and cheerful vocalsa nd "We ha to do it ( Version)" which has a lighter instrumental-style composition. The B-side contains the same version⁉ of the song "Peace". The vinyl is clean, but there is a tinny noise from middle part of B2, which may be intentional or a pressing mistake.
We ha to do it”、より楽器の軽やかなインストのような構成の”We ha to do it (Version)”も収録。
A1 - We ha to do it
A2 - We ha to do it (Version)
B1 - Talking Peace
B2 - Peace Talk (Version)
