The only work by Kanguru, a group formed in Nimbin, south of Brisbane, known as a sacred place for hippies. This is reissure in 1980, originally released in 1973. Under the global raga trend, Indian instruments such as sarod, pakhavaju, tabla, and non-Indian folk instruments such as the didgeridoo, an indigenous Australian instrument, are intricately fused, and all 4 songs depict a spiritual journey worthy of the title. An important work that pioneered the cross-cultural orientation of the Australian music scene that accelerated through the 1980s. The band name comes from the Kangaroo and Guru Guru titles?
