'80s single was released in southern France by flamenco guitarist José Serviolles. Side A beautiful folk number “Angelo” starts with the fragrant sound of flamenco guitar, followed by sublime scat vocals, castanets, and the box-shaped percussion instrument, the cajón. The highly anticipated Side B includes the irresistibly danceable 3/4-beat synth flamenco track “Gilda” It sounds great even pitch down. Both sides are great.
南フランスでリリースされたフラメンコギター奏者José Serviollesによる80年代のシングル盤。A面には香り立つようなフラメンコギターの音色から始まり崇高なスキャット、カスタネット、箱型打楽器カホンによる美しいフォーク・ナンバー”Angelo”、そして注目のB面には思わず身体が動いてしまう3/4ビートのシンセ・フラメンコ”Gilda”。少しピッチダウンしてもいい感じです。ネオ・フラメンコ的サウンドを両面で収録。
