Unknown '85 album by Argentinian-American multi-instrumentalist Jorge Alfano who is still active in New Jersey, USA. The recording was in New York in 1982 and released on Interdisc, one of Argentina's most prestigious label. The earliest work of him, which contains four organic new-age/ambient tunes that cannot be believed to be from Argentina, and is the origin of his ethnic works since 1990. Never heard such a sound in Argentinean works of this time. Minimalistic jacket also seems to represent his world view.
現在も精力的にアメリカ・ニュージャージーで活動するアルゼンチン-アメリカン マルチ奏者Jorge Alfanoの85年作。録音は82年にニューヨークで行われ、リリースはアルゼンチン名門の一つInterdiscから。アルゼンチン産とはにわかに信じがたい驚きの有機的なニューエイジ/アンビエントを4曲収録した桃源郷的作品と同時に90年以降の彼の丁寧に作られるエスニック作品群の原点にもなっているように思います。この頃のアルゼンチンのリリースでこのような音はまず聞いた事がありません。視聴長めに録ってありますのでじっくり聴いてみてください。
