From the tense opening of the Japanese spiritual jazz-funk track “Bamboo” to thrilling extended jazz-funk piece “Blue Wind”, the entire album features crossover jazz sound that fuses the Japanese spiritual essence brought by the shakuhachi with jazz-funk\/fusion. Excellent content.
