Jatari, an Ecuadorian group formed at a university in 1971, uses Indian rhythms and instruments to express the problems and cultures facing Latin America. The album is full of warm folk sounds and ensembles using traditional instruments called Claves,Quena and many others. Includes a liner with a detailed explanation of the instrument and its history in English and Spanish.
