Jẹjẹ project in 1983, featuring Nigerian producer Ray Mike Nwachukwu known for popular productions like John Player's Disco Boogie and Theadora Ifudu, alongside numerous talented local musicians including Babá Ken Okulolo, Friday Jumbo, Laolu Akins, and Gboyega Adelaja. A rare blend of tropical, lo-fi, afrobeat sounds seamlessly fused across 7 tracks. First up, the irresistible “A Poor Man Has No Brother” delivers a meltingly sweet vibe and lo-fi touch. Also not to be missed are afro tune “Time Na Money / To Be A Good Leader” featuring male and female vocals over cheap keyboard sound, and gentle afro balearic “Dignity Of Labour” sung by female vocals. Brilliant overall. There's a bit of a crackling sound at the beginning, but otherwise it's in excellent, valuable condition.
A Poor Man Has No Brother”がもうたまりません。 Time Na Money / To Be A Good Leader”、女性ヴォーカル歌うゆるやかなアフロ・バレアリック”Dignity Of Labour”もお見逃しなく。
