Bordeaux-born singer Isabelle Mayereau's 1980 work from her experimental period. The album features a diverse range of music, featuring Sauveur Mallia (ex Arpadys/Voyage) and percussionist Jean-Paul Batailley who contributed to numerous quality works including Yves Hayat and Tumblack. It includes the bizarre minimal wave style “On A Trouvé...”, sung over a new wave beat “Des Mots Étranges”, “Chocolat Brun” which could be called electrified experimental folk, and celestial chanson “Bordeaux”. A unique work gathering a cast of eccentrics.
ボルドー出身のシンガーIsabelle Mayereauが実験期に残した80年作。Sauveur Mallia (ex Arpadys/Voyage)やYves HayatやTumblackはじめ良作群に多数参加する打楽器奏者Jean-Paul Batailleyなどが参加した多様な音楽が展開されています。異様な電気使いのミニマルウェーヴ風”On A Trouvé...”、ニューウェーヴ的ビートを乗せて唄う”Des Mots Étranges”、電化実験フォークとでも言えそうな”Chocolat Brun”、そして天上系シャンソン”Bordeaux”を収録。フランスらしい一癖二癖効いたシャンソン作品。最高。
