Hugo Fattoruso and Ruben Rada, two of Uruguay's leading musicians who continue to be a source of inspiration to this day, teamed up for this masterpiece in 1991. They have drawn out both strengths from their roots in the traditional instrument, “Candombe”. The album starts with “Por La Ventana Primaveral” by Hugo, which is enchanting with smooth, floating melody, followed by “Ana” by Rada, which has a magical groove with the addition of Hugo's synth work, one of highlights psychedelic and mellow “Toque I”, candombe groove "Candombé Para Figari" by Rada, and the amazing smooth number "Santanita" by the two, which brings about a sunset-like nostalgia. It's full of impressive tracks. It was produced by Litto Nebbia and recorded in Buenos Aires, so it's probably a work led by Melopea. It has been a while since we have had this one in stock, it is still ace. Melopea version cassette tape released in Argentina.
現在も大きなインスピレーションの源となっているウルグアイを代表するミュージシャンの二人Hugo FattorusoとRuben Radaがタッグを組んだ91年の超傑作。二人のルーツである伝統楽器”カンドンベ”をキーワードに両者の持ち味を引き出し合った作品となっています。浮遊感のある滑らかなメロディにうっとりするHugo作”Por La Ventana Primaveral”に始まり、ウーゴのシンセワークが加わりマジカルなグルーヴを奏でるRada作”Ana”、サイケ・メロウなハイライトのひとつ”Toque I”、Radaにようカンドンベ・グルーヴ”Candombé Para Figari”、サンセットライクな郷愁に駆られる二人による極上スムースナンバー”Santanita”などいい曲目白押し。プロデュースはLitto Nebbiaが務め録音もブエノスアイレスで行われているのでMelopea側主導により制作されたものでしょうか。久々に入荷しましたがやっぱり最高の作品です。アルゼンチンリリースのMelopea版カセット。
