True masterful digi reggae piece released in Canada in 1986 by Horace Martin, a roots singer from Kingston, Jamaica, who has been active since the 1970s. What makes this album special is its innovative sound, created by applying digital processing in Canada to rhythm tracks recorded in Jamaica, effectively fusing old-school reggae with the electronic music of the era. His most experimental album, often described as avant-garde, is filled with a unique atmosphere where every track blends modern and dope elements. The use of electronics on the title track B1 is particularly striking. The entire album is incredibly amazing.
