1982 debut album by Hiroshi Yoshimura, Japan’s preeminent ambient music composer, a figure who needs no introduction. Originally created as background music for an art museum, the work garnered such a strong response that it was released as the first installment in the “Wave Notation” series, curated by Satoshi Ashikawa. Recorded at home using a keyboard and Fender Rhodes, the album features total 9 tracks inspired by such as the movement of clouds, the shade of summer trees, the sound of rain, snow falling on the city. The music that lulls you into a drowsy state, gently slipping into your body as if to ease your guard, only to fade away, repeating this cycle over and over. 説明不要の日本を代表する環境音楽デザイナー吉村弘による82年のファーストアルバム。元々は美術館の館内BGM用に制作されたものが大きな反響を呼び芦川聡が企画したシリーズ「Wave Notation」の1番としてリリースされました。自宅にてキーボードとフェンダー・ローズを用い雲の動き、夏の木陰、雨の音、街に降る雪といったものからのインスピレーションで描き出した全9曲を収録。警戒心を解くようにスッと身体に入り込みそして消えてを繰り返すまどろみの音楽。優しい。是非オリジナルで体感してみて下さい。
