The Heerlens Percussie Ensemble was formed around Jelmo Piovesana, who was a teacher in Hehlen in the southern part of the Netherlands, and included 6 original musicians of the same generation. This is private and only release in 1986. Steve Reich, Bob Becker of Nexus, Nippy Noya, whose father is a Japanese "Taiko" player, and drummer Han Bennink were all influences on this album, which was recorded in just two days. Audio sample are from the spiritual opening, the African beat mixed with vibraphone and marimba leads to A2"Biologic Music"、ethereal shimmering colors jazz A3"Back To Factory"、brilliant urban jazz underpinned by a wild percussion beat B2"Black Africa"、an experimental beat exchange B3"Spektakel". Just fantastic album.
