The only single by Gate Ball, a project led by Haruo Chikada, which has created ambient versions of songs by David Bowie, Paul Moriah, Kyu Sakamoto, Kraftwerk, more. Under the slogan of "with the feeling of being a beginner, when each member took an instrument that had been lying unused and enjoyed just making sounds", this single feature ambient version of a rock number by David Bowie and the Kinks and easy listening classics. The lovely sound of the instruments and the stylish and visionary sound-making are a delight. This single and cassettes (including the Tra Project cassette book) are the only originals from the 80's and extremely rare piece.
デヴィッド・ボウイ、ポール・モーリア、坂本九、クラフトワーク等の楽曲をアンビエント化した近田春夫を中心としたプロジェクトGate Ballの唯一のシングル。「使わずに寝かせていた楽器をメンバー各自が持ちよって、音を出すだけで楽しかった初心者の頃の気持ちで」というスローガンの下、本シングルではイージーリスニング古典にDavid BowieとKinksによるロックナンバーを料理。愛らしい楽器たちの音色と洒脱の効いた先見性あるサウンドメイキングにほっこり。80年代のオリジナルはこのシングルとカセットのみ(Tra Projectのカセットブック含)、稀少となっています。
