This double album was released in Italy in 1979 by American trombonist Garrett List, who made a rich career ranging from free jazz ground to avant-garde, leftfield, and education. One side features strange and experimental solo performances, but the A/B sides are truly remarkable, synthesizing ensemble-played minimalism, soul, jazz, experimental.. includes “Slow Dance” featuring female vocals blended with swaying, exquisitely balanced feel, “The Tools Of War Are Multiplying” where avant-garde and improvisation intersect, “Nothing At All” sung with soulful vocals alongside piano and abstract vocal exchange “What America Wants, America Gets”. Also recommended for fans of Arthur Russell (with whom he also performed).
The Tools Of War Are Multiplying”、ピアノと共にソウルフルなヴォ―カルで歌われる”Nothing At All”、声とアブストラクトな応酬”What America Wants, America Gets”を収録。
