This 1978 collaborative album features violinist Didier Lockwood who was a member of groups like Magma and Zao and was active in the avant-garde jazz scene and François Cahen, who also played keyboards in Magma’s early days. From the opening track “Thank You Joe” which creates a dreamlike sound using the Mellotron and Synthesizers, and the ethereal “Obade A Jean Sebastien” which borders on ambient, to avantgarde crossover tracks on Side B, “Top Espace” and “Rêves De Music”.
MagmaやZaoといったグループに在籍しアヴァンギャルド・ジャズの世界でも活動したヴァイオリニストDidier Lockwoodが同じくMagma初期にキーボードを担当していたFrançois Cahenをフィーチャーしてリリースされた78年のコラボレーション作品。メロトロンやシンセサイザーを用いた夢心地なサウンドを生み出している冒頭”Thank You Joe”やアンビエントに接近している幻想サウンド”Obade A Jean Sebastien”からB面のアヴァンギャルド・クロスオーヴァー的な2曲”Top Espace”, "Rêves De Music"も面白いです。
