A split soundtrack album by two artists bound by deep friendship and numerous collaborations, Alessandro Alessandroni, a giant of the Italian library music scene who left behind countless masterpieces, and Francesco De Masi, a composer who made significant strides as a conductor and expanded into the worlds of film and documentary. Side A features all 8 tracks from the 1969 erotic film "Lesbo", it unfolds a sound reminiscent of the warm Mediterranean, blending romantic, lounge, jazz, and bossa nova elements. Among them, lounge-style “Qualsiasi Cosa” sung in moist voice, velvety, and the bossa nova number “L'isola Dell'amore” featuring dazzling scat vocals, are particularly outstanding. The B-side, released the same year on "L'amore Questo Sconosciuto" includes tracks like the twilight romantic lounge “Exciting” and a melancholy lounge piece, interspersed with a few more comical tracks. The subtle jacket fit is just perfect.
