A single released in 1960 by Ethel Nakata, a pioneering Hawaiian singer who has been commended by the governor of Hawaii for his many years of contributions, and Pos Miyazaki, who has been active since the beginning of Hawaiian music with his Coney Islanders. Side A is a Hawaiian lounge-style cover of an old Filipino folk song "Dahiru Sayo" and side B is "Waikapu" a graceful song with an acoustic sound. Side A is especially our recommended.
その長年の貢献により、ハワイ州知事から表彰されるなどハワイアン歌手の草分け的存在であるエセル中田とハワイアン創生期より活動するポス宮崎率いるコニー・アイランダーズによる60年のシングル。A面にはフィリピンに古くから伝わる民謡をはハワイアン・ラウンジ調にカバー”ダヒル・サヨ”、B面には優雅な歌とアコースティックサウンドを聞かせる”ワイカプ”を収録。A面が特にオススメ。
