Errol H. Tout, a Perth, Australia-based multi-instrumentalist/composer who sadly passed away in 2022, released 15 albums during his lifetime. This is an early representative piece with fascinating jacket art that was produced over a year and half after the first album. It contains total 19 tracks with long-time partners and engineers James Hewgill and Mark McAndrew also credited as producers. Among the recommended are cool breeze blowing through "A Girl's Name", "Helicopters"which has an experimental guitar sound and synths, beautiful guitar ambient "Sometimes" with vocals, "Sounds Of Swimming" with refreshing swing as the title suggests, mellow fusion number "Breakdawn" and don't miss the wonderful guitar solo number B5/B7 with ambience. A top record for cool summer evening. Original.

Tout。本作はファーストアルバムに当たる前作から一年半をかけて制作された魅惑的なジャケットも印象的な初期代表作。長年のパートナーでもあるエンジニアも務めるJames HewgillとMark McAndrewもプロデュースを手掛けた全19曲を収録。中でも涼し気な風が吹き抜けていくような”A Girl's Name”、実験精神の宿るギターサウンドとシンセが広がる”Helicopters”、唯一のヴォーカルの入った美しいギターアンビエント”Sometimes”、タイトルに見るように爽快にスィングしていく”Sounds Of Swimming”、メロウなフュージョンナンバー”Breakdawn”などおすすめですが、B5/B7のようなアンビエンスを内包したギターソロも素晴らしいのでお見逃しなく。納涼レコードとしても◎。貴重となっているオリジナル盤です。
