The CD version of the 1987 cassette-only work by Uruguayan legend Eduardo Mateo, whose influence continues to this day. This conceptual work, conceived even before the release of his second album "Cuerpo Y Alma" was recorded in 1987, drawing inspiration from the transience of life, the proximity of death (which he himself seemed to have deeply grappled with), and a show based on the concept later dubbed "Time Machine". Includes over 8 minutes long“La Máquina Del Tiempo” that feels like listening to the very soul of Mateo, “Entre Signos De” where Mariana Ingold’s ethereal synths swirl with spellbinding vocals, magical and exotic piece with like a oriental feel "La Libélula", acomfortable and upbeat vibe with Mariana Ingold singing back of bongo and synth harmonies, unuque danceable “Ficción Solar” where the vocals ride over Hugo Jasa’s drum machine, and the final two tracks are live recordings from 1988. It's undeniably fantastic. This CD version is the only reissue available. The original is extremely difficult to find.
現在も大きな影響を与え続けるウルグアイの伝説Eduardo Mateoが残していた87年のカセットオンリー作品のCD版。セカンドアルバム”Cuerpo Y Alma”リリース前から構想していたコンセプチュアル・ワークで、人生のはかなさや死の近さといった事象（自身も深く悩まされていたようです）や後にタイムマシーンと付けられたコンセプトに基づいたショーからのインスピレーションを基に87年にレコーディングが行われました。8分を超えるマテオの魂を聴くような”La Máquina Del Tiempo”、Mariana Ingoldの幻想的なシンセに呪術的なヴォーカルが渦巻くように展開される”Entre Signos De”、東洋を感じるようなマジカル・エキゾ”El Chi-Li-Ban-Dan”、ボンゴとシンセのハーモニーをバックにMariana Ingoldと歌う心地良いバイブスに溢れた”La Libélula”、珍しいタイプのHugo Jasaのドラムマシーンに乗るように歌うダンサンブルな”Ficción Solar”、ラスト2曲は88年のライブ録音が収められています。文句なしに最高です。唯一リイシューされているのがこのCD版だけです。オリジナルはやはり超入手困難。
