Ngoma, a label introducing artists from the Congo River region (former Belgian/French territories) operated by a Greek entrepreneur from 1948 to 1971. This release is a single by Docteur Nico, one of the pioneers of the Congolese music scene and his band. This is the exceptional content our shop are eager to hear right now. Side A features “Adieu Freetown” where trumpet and guitar play as if marking time leisurely. Side B includes “Timbero” where the electric guitar's tone adds accents while the brass section's relaxed performance is superb. Mraculous deadstock copy.
ギリシャ人実業家により48年から71年まで運営されたコンゴ川を挟んだ地域（旧ベルギー領/フランス領）のアーティストを紹介したレーベルNgoma。本作はコンゴ音楽シーンのパイオニアのひとりDocteur Nicoとそのバンドによるシングル。これが当店が今まさに聴きたい抜群の内容。A面ではトランペットやギターがゆったりと時を刻むように演奏される”Adieu Freetown”、そしてB面にはエレキギターの音色もアクセントになりながらブラス隊の緩やかな演奏が最高な”Timbero”を収録。奇跡的なデッドストック品が手に入りました。
