Didier Bonin is a French guitarist who remains largely a mystery, known only for having released two records between the ’70s and ’80s. This is his self-released album from 1982, which serves as his second album. The 6 track album features mind-trip guitar music like “Air Lumière” where you can lose yourself in a drive that leads deeper and deeper inward, and “Parti Du Pli” in which the reverberations of glass-like percussion float through a thin mist of feedback drones. It’s a work that layers electronics and acoustics like watercolors, gradually staining the sound with a subtle, immersive quality. Amazing private piece where even the artwork tells a story.
詳細不明のフランス人ギター奏者Didier Boninが自主制作で残した82年の作品。第四世界的に夢の世界に引き寄せられるようなエレクトロニクスとアコースティックを重ね合わせた多重録音による全6曲。声をフィーチャーした幻想的な冒頭”Juin 81”、陶酔していくようなギターマインドミュージック”L'Air Lumiere”、ドローンと金属系の鳴り物でコラージュしていく舞踏会の為に制作された大曲”Parti Du Pli”等収録。アートワークも物語る超傑作。
