This is the only album released in 1984 by Damiani Opus Music Ensemble, a jazz ensemble formed mainly by bassist Paolo Damiani. Mediterranean folklore, mysterious yet warm trumpet and horn sounds, and Julie Goell's voice intersect on 11 minutes of organic urban jazz A3 "The Procession", and the vocal emphasis on the avant-garde jazz part at the beginning shifts to ethno-jazz on B1 "Mansarda Sonora - Esablu". Just great. The fantastic sound world that goes on endlessly.
ベース奏者Paolo Damianiを中心に結成されたジャズアンサンブル集団Damiani Opus Music Ensembleの84年発表の唯一作。地中海のフォークロア、ミステリアスでありながらあたたかいトランペットやホルンの音色、Julie Goellの歌声が交錯する11分にも及ぶオーガニックアーバンジャズA3"The Procession"、ヴォーカルが更に強調された序盤のアヴァンギャルドジャズパートからエスノジャズへ移っていくB1”Mansarda Sonora - Esablu”。どこまでも続く幻想的な音世界が圧巻。
