1970 release features Puerto Rican percussionist Rafael Cortijo and Kako, a percussionist who was both his childhood friend and protégé. Focusing on "street rhythms and songs" the album includes 12 tracks of rich, complex, and stoic bomba and plena based on traditional Afro-Puerto Rican rhythms, ranging from humorous tune to spiritual tune. The record is in very good condition, and the jacket is in fair condition.
