Manolo Guardia, a pianist active in the early days of Uruguayan music, is known for his influential 1965 masterpiece "Candombe" and for producing Ruben Rada's first album. This album was made in 1971 by the band led by him with members Chichito Cabral, Federico García Vigil, Eduardo Uzeta. All instrumental jazzy tunes include highlight of title track "Bijou" the groovy "Lunes, Lunes," and the mellow bossa "Tu Y La Flor". One of Uruguay's prestigious Sondor early catalogs.
後世に大きな影響を与えた65年の傑作”Candombe”やRuben Radaのファーストアルバムのプロデュースで知られるウルグアイミュージック創生期から活動するピアニストManolo Guardiaが率いた楽団による71年作。メンバーにはChichito Cabral, Federico García Vigil, Eduardo Uzetaなどが連ねた全てインストの構成。タイトル曲”Bijou”、グルーヴィな”Lunes, Lunes”、メロウ・ボッサ"Tu Y La Flor"筆頭に小気味いいジャジーなサウンドを聞かせてくれます。ウルグアイ名門Sondor初期カタログのひとつ。
