The only release under his own name by Claudio Dentes, a London-born guitarist/composer who continued his career based in Milan, having participated in numerous works as a session musician. The album contains 7 tracks, including the title track "Pantarei (Part I) & (Part II)" which begins with the sound of a Moog and acoustic guitar and then develops into a fantastical mood, "Tarantel" which shifts from abstract sounds into a cosmic soundscape and the guitar ambient "Imago". While progressive elements are present, it captivates with a delicate melodic sense and beautiful sound vision that transcend those influences.
セッションミュージシャンとして多くの作品に参加した経歴を持つロンドン生まれながらミラノを拠点に活動を続けたギタリスト/コンポーザーClaudio Dentesによる本人名義唯一の作品。ムーグとアコースティックギターの音色が広がる冒頭部から幻想的にムードが変化していくタイトル曲 ”Pantarei (Parte I)&(ParteⅡ)”、アブストラクトなサウンドから一転宇宙的音場へ移る”Tarantel”、ギターアンビエント”Imago”を含む全7曲を収録。プログレ色もありますがそれを超える繊細なメロディセンスと美しいサウンド・ヴィジョンが魅了します。最も過小評価された作品のひとつというレヴューも同意。
