80' album by Claudia Maria, a singer from Rio de Janeiro who has been active since the 1960s. Hermeto Paschoal, Dorival Caymmi, Sivuca, Grupo Medusa's drummer Chico Medori are participating as arrangers. Among them, highlights A2, B1 that the collaboration of Chico Medori and Claudia Maria, who are performing most of tunes, has transformed into a bossa nova with a strange/obscure essence reminiscent of Grupo Medusa, and Sivuca A3, Dorival Caymmi A4 are comfortable and beautiful bossa groove, Hermeto Paschoal wraps up the groove of the Hermeto mark, like contemporary music. It is a wonderful piece that allows you to experience the real pleasure of Brazilian music with this one.
60年代より活動するリオデジャネイロ出身の歌手Claudia Mariaの80年の作品。Hermeto Paschoal,Dorival Caymmi,Sivuca,Grupo MedusaのドラマーChico Medoriなどがアレンジャーとして参加しています。中でも大半を担当しているChico MedoriとClaudia Mariaの共作がGrupo Medusaを彷彿させるストレンジ/オブスキュア感覚のボサノバに変容していてA2,B1などはハイライト。更にSivuca手掛けるA3,Dorival Caymmi手掛けるA4などは心地よい美しいボッサグルーヴ、最後を締めるHermeto Paschoalは現代音楽のような正にHermeto印のグルーヴを披露しています。ブラジル音楽の醍醐味をこの一枚で体験できるような素晴らしい作品です。
