From around 1982 to 1986, Tra Project was a medium that incorporated not only music, but also fashion, art and culture, and was sold in record shops and bookstores in Japan and other countries. This is the debut cassette album from Cioccolata, a new wave group featuring Hajime Okano and Kaori Kano. It contains 9 tracks showcasing a unique sound that blends opera and canzone influences with vocals utilizing belcanto technique. It features intriguing tracks that clearly set the band apart from their peers, such as sort of Canzone-wave "Dolore" and standout opera-inspired minimal wave track “Danza”. The packaging also reflects Tra's signature attention to detail, featuring a distinctive book-style design.

82年頃から86年頃まで音楽だけではなくファッション、アート、カルチャーなどを取り込んだ媒体で日本や諸外国のレコード店、本屋などで展開していたTra Project。本作は岡野ハジメやかの香織擁するニューウェーブ・グループCioccolataのデヴュー・カセット・アルバム。ベルカントを駆使した歌声にオペラやカンツォーネをミックスした独自性あるサウンド全9曲を収録。カンツォーネ・ウェーヴならぬ”Dolore”やハイライトのオペラ調のミニマル・ウェーヴ”Danza”など他との差別化を図ったと思いますが興味深い曲多数。内装もTraならではのこだわりのブック型仕様。
