Chinatsu Kuzuu, a songwriter who sings the poetry of poets in her medieval voice with synths, and has made a big achievement in television advertisement and game/anime music industry represented by the FINAL FANTASY series. This is the first of two EPs released on her own Sarusuberi label. A total of 5 songs sung by herself full of mystical with dignified and elegant synth programming by keyboard player Shinji Fukuda. It's hard to decide which one is best, but ``The Lady Of Shalott §2'', which starts with a minimal melody is particularly impressive. Total amazing. Haven't seen it much lately.
シンセと共にその中世的な声で詩人たちの詩を唄い、その評価により80年代後半からはCMやFINAL FANTASYシリーズに代表されるゲーム・アニメ音楽業界でも大きな実績を残したソングライター葛生千夏。本作は自身のレーベルSarusuberiからリリースした二枚のEPの内の初作。鍵盤奏者 福田真司による沸き立つような凛としたエレガンスなシンセ・プログラミングの上を自身が歌う幻想美に満ちた全5曲。どれも甲乙つけがたいですが、ミニマルな旋律から始まる”The Lady Of Shalott §2”は特にグッときます。セカンドもいいですがこちらも素晴らしいです。最近めっきり見なくなりました。
