Chinese composer Yuan Fang produced this album in 1982. The album contains 6 tracks that express traditional songs in a classical style with an orchestral arrangement and a pastoral atmosphere. In particular, the B-sides are impressive, including B1 "山茶花", which features a gorgeous performance using traditional instruments, and the rhythmic Chinese contemporary tune "银水金浪". It seems that this kind of moody musical form is not often seen in China at this age.
中国人作曲家Yuan Fangが手掛けた82年作。オーケストラ編成にて牧歌的な雰囲気を覗かせながら伝統歌をクラシカルに表現した全6曲を収録。とりわけ、伝統楽器を用いた華麗な演奏を聞けるB1”山茶花”、リズミカルなチャイニーズ・コンテンポラリー曲”银水金浪”を含むB面が秀逸。中国でこの年代でこの手のムード溢れる音楽形態はあまり見かけないようです。
