The Taiwanese composer Chen Yang, who is known for not only popular music and also music for plays and dance, music production/provision related to media, and music style that quickly adopted new age and modern classical music. This album is a collection of instrumental arrangements of Taiwanese and Chinese folk songs, produced in his earliest works. It includes 12 tracks with orchestral accompaniment, ranging from pieces evoking vast landscapes to reinterpreted traditional melodies. The symphonic soundscapes that foreshadow his future are already fully developed. B3/A1 are particularly outstanding.
ポピュラー音楽だけではなく劇やダンスの為の音楽、メディア関係の楽曲制作/提供、いち早くニューエイジやモダンクラシカルを取り入れ当店でも多くの作品を紹介してきた台湾の作曲家 陳揚。本作は最初期に制作された台湾と中国の民謡をインスト化した音源集。管弦楽団を率いながら広大な大地を想わせる楽曲から伝統曲をアップロードした楽曲まで全12曲を収録。今後を予見させるシンフォニックなサウンドスケープは既に出来上がっています。特にB3/A1は秀逸。
