First album by Ché-SHIZU, an improvisation/folk band led by unique kokyu player/vocalist Chie Mukai, who also performed with East Bionic Symphonia in the 1970s. Members are Tōri Kudo, Takuya Nishimura, and Tsukasa Takahashi. The album features a variety of music, from distorted kokyu (Japanese violin) sounds that bring out a sticky psychedelia, to European trad type tune, improv lost track, fantasy tunes based on world folk (Minyo) songs, and a cover of an acid surf classic by Takeshi Terauchi and Blue Jeans with surf guitar sounds, kokyu, and Korean singing. Chie Mukai's singing voice, which is empty but gives off an air of "elegant and tasteful", is the best. True masterpiece. Original.
70年代にはEast Bionic Symphoniaのパフォーマンスにも参加していた特殊胡弓奏者/ヴォーカリスト向井千恵を中心とした即興/フォークバンドChé-SHIZUのファーストアルバム。メンバーは工藤冬里、西村卓也、高橋朝。歪んだ胡弓の音を始めとしたドロドロとしたサイケデリアを浮かび上がらせる楽曲、ヨーロッパのトラッド調、インプロ迷曲、民謡を下地にした幻想曲、寺内タケシとブルー・ジーンズによるアシッドサーフ名曲をサーフギター音、胡弓、韓国語を交えたカバー（最高！）したものまで問答無用の名作。向井千恵の空虚ながら風情を醸す歌声が何と言っても。いつまでも聞いていたい。オリジナル。ジャケット少し汚れありますが、盤綺麗です。
