The only album release by Car Crash Set, one of New Zealand's pioneering electronic bands. Featuring 8 meticulously crafted synthpop/post-punk tracks, it's easy to see why they've gained a cult following. While the distinctly Blue Monday esque “Justice” and the pleasant mellow synth pop “Those Days” are solid, and our recommendations are the post punk tinged "Breakdown" attacking with its sharp beat and acid edge and the unreleased as single “Heart Of Stone” where the rhythm machine races and synth / guitar riffs interlock. Though their active period lasted only about 3 years, they left behind an impressive collection of tracks. Both the disc and jacket are in amazing condition.

ニュージーランドの先駆的なエレクトリックバンドのひとつCar Crash Setによる唯一のアルバムリリース。シングル盤を含めカルトな人気も納得のしっかり作り込まれたシンセポップ/ポストパンクトラック全8曲を収録。もろBlue Mondayな”Justice”や心地よいメロウ・シンセ・ポップ”Those Days”もいいですがキレのいいビートにアシッド加減で攻めるポストパンク調の”Breakdown”とリズムマシーンが走りシンセとギターのリフが重なる未シングル化”Heart Of Stone”を当店としてはおすすめ。わずか3年程の活動期間だったようですが印象的なトラック群を残しています。盤/ジャケット共に超良好なコンディション。
