The extraordinary musician Brian Eno, who was forced to quit Roxy Music due to a sense of crisis caused by his immense popularity, surpassing that of Bryan Ferry, and subsequently went solo. This album, released in 1975, is known as a cornerstone of ambient music and was recorded just one month after his masterpiece third album, "Another Green World". Side A features a long track created by adding and fading out different parts using two open-reel tape recorders and a system of long, delayed echoes generated by his own equipment. Side B includes a track that deconstructs and reconstructs Johann Pachelbel’s chamber piece “Canon” with references to Satie. A beautiful copy of the 1982 Japanese reissue, complete with obi and insert. Liner notes by Satoshi Ashikawa.
