Eugenio Toussaint, one of most important Mexican jazz musicians, who led the band Sacbe and has been involved in numerous collaborations and other works. This is the only work released in 1976 by jazz fusion band formed before Sacbe. The members include veteran saxophonist Alejandro Campos and other musicians who continued to play an active role in the jazz scene. A group of wonderful tracks that each performance stands out, such as the mellow jazz fusion "Marias", groovy jazz-funk style "Kamazotz", cheerful jazz waltz "La Niña De Los Ojos Verdes", and bossa number "El Mirlo", which grooves as if the saxophone and flute intertwine. It’s no wonder that the following year's Sacbe masterpiece was born. Beautiful original copy in shrink wrap.
Sacbeを率い、その他にもコラボレーションはじめ数々の作品に関与してきたメキシコの最重要ジャズミュージシャンのひとりEugenio Toussaint。本作はそのSacbe前夜に結成されていたジャズフュージョンバンドによる唯一となる76年リリース作品。メンバーにはベテランサックス奏者Alejandro Camposはじめその後もジャズシーンで活躍したミュージシャンが固めています。メロウなジャズ・フュージョン”Marias”、グルーヴィーなジャズ・ファンク調”Kamazotz”、小気味いいジャズ・ワルツ”La Niña De Los Ojos Verdes”、サックス、フルートが絡み合うようにグルーヴするボッサ・ナンバー”El Mirlo”など、各演奏も際立つ素晴らしい楽曲群。翌年リリースのSacbe最高傑作も必然と言えそうな内容を含んでいます。シュリンク付きのオリジナル美品。
