Uruguayan bassist/composer Beto Satragni, also known as a member of Raices and Spinetta Jade. A figure who has left a contribution on the Argentinian scene as well as on his Uruguayan connections as represented by Hugo Fattoruso,Ruben Rada. This solo album was released in 1991 on the Melopea label led by Litto Nebbia, and features a flowing Candombe-fusion/jazz-rock sound with members Ruben Rada, Ricardo Nolé, Quintino Cinalli. In particular, "Milonga Canaria" has a lustrous, smooth groove that creates melancholy, "Lund Drum Candombé" is a killer intersection of steelpan and candombé rhythms, "Para Mí Abuelo Jacinto", a technical, fast-moving mellow groove with his own vocal, last track "Funk Ecológico" starts with the bouncy rhythm work that gives the song its funk name and builds into a spectacular session, are amazing. One of best Melopea piece.
