Bernie Krause, an electronic musician and bioacoustician known as one of the pioneers who played the Moog synthesizer in the 1960s, and also famed for demonstrating the Moog to George Harrison, which led to the creation of tracks for his electronic album the following year. In the late 1980s, he was also known for a series of works themed around the environment, and this 12inch single appears to have been released as part of that series. It featue the abstract slow funk track "Jungle Shoes" which combines the sounds of various animals and plays them like a single instrument, as well as the ambient like track "Fish Wrap" which is made using the sounds of marine life in a similar way. Both tracks are quite interesting, but Bernie Krause's sense of beat is also impressive.
