As you know, “My Neighbor Totoro” is a Studio Ghibli masterpiece that Japan is proud to share with the world. This 7" single pairs the well-known theme song sung by Azumi Inoue with “Carrying You” an insert song from “Castle in the Sky”. The music was, of course, composed and arranged by Joe Hisaishi. Set in the countryside, this track evokes the nostalgic, traditional landscapes of Japan and can certainly be considered one of the defining sounds of a Japan's summer. Original, pristine copy.
ご存知日本が世界に誇るジブリ名作「となりのトトロ」。本作は井上あずみが歌う誰もが知るイメージソングに「天空の城ラピュタ」の挿入歌である”君をのせて”をカップリングした7インチシングル。作編曲はもちろん久石譲。田舎を舞台にした古き良き日本の原風景をイメージさせる日本の夏を代表する音楽のひとつと言えるでしょう。オリジナル美盤。
