The sole album release by Australia, a five-piece group based in Sydney. Living up to the promise of the cover, the album features 10 original tracks that are both tasteful and diverse. Highlights include the pleasant AOR-style “Captain Magic” which effectively incorporates electric piano and synths, and soft rock track “Questions” which weaves in elements of acid and psychedelia, though the entire album is excellent. A beautiful copy with the original inner sleeve.
オーストラリア・シドニー拠点の5人組グループその名もAustraliaによる唯一のアルバムリリース。ジャケットの期待を裏切らない全てオリジナルによるセンスよくバラエティに富んだ全10曲を収録。エレピやシンセを効果的に差し入れた心地よいAOR調”Captain Magic”やアシッド/サイケのエッセンスを織り交ぜたソフトロック”Questions”は中でも推薦ですが全編いい内容。オリジナルインナー付属美盤。日本ではなかなか見かけないですね。
