The debut solo album released by experimental music maestro Anthony Moore on the eve of Slapp Happy. It is widely known that he was heavily influenced by John Cage, and this work is no exception, side A is filled with the track “Jam Jem Jim Jom Jum” a minimal music piece that unfolds using the sounds of bells, three vocalists repeating lyrics, occasional laughter, human physiology, and chance operations. Side B features “Mu Na H-Uile Ni A Shaoileas” which uses reverse tape playback to create a laid-back ambient minimal sound, and “A.B.C.D. Gol’Fish” where shimmering electronic tones and acoustic timbres unfold to evoke a faint, ethereal atmosphere. Even considering the era of 1971, this work was arguably ahead of its time. 1982 Japanese reissue edition.
Slapp Happy前夜に奇才実験音楽家/プロデューサーAnthony Mooreがリリースしていたソロファーストアルバム。元々ケージに多大な影響を受けていた事は広く知られていますが、この作品でもA面いっぱいに鐘の音に三人のヴォーカルが歌を繰り返し時には笑い人間の生理構造とチャンス・オペレーションを用いて展開されるミニマル・ミュージック”Jam Jem Jim Jom Jum”。B面にはテープの逆回転を用いゆったりとしたアンビエント・ミニマル・ミュージックを演出した”Mu Na H-Uile Ni A Shaoileas”、煌めく電子音とアコースティックな音色が淡い表情を浮かべるように展開される”A.B.C.D. Gol'Fish”を収録。71年という時代を考えても早すぎた作品と言えると思います。82年の日本リイシュー版。
