A masterpiece released in 1981 on the Zickzack label by Andy Giorbino, a musician actived in the Hamburg scene as a member of groups like Geisterfahrer and Kastrierte Philosophen. It is packed with a unique, humorous brand of minimal synth-pop that makes liberal use of toy instruments and cheap gear, and epitomizes the signature sound of the Zickzack label. The sound suggests a strong influence on the likes of Picky Picnic. The artwork, which evokes a sense of childlike wonder, is also excellent.
ハンブルクシーンにおいてGeisterfahrerやKastrierte Philosophenのメンバーとしても活動したミュージシャンAndy GiorbinoがZickzackより81年にリリースした名盤。トイ楽器やチープな機材を使ったユーモア溢れる変種のミニマル・シンセポップをこれでもかと収録。Zickzackのレーベルカラーを象徴する作品。Picky Picnicも大きな影響を受けてそうな音ですね。童心に帰ったようなアートワークもよしです。
