Anatoly Fomin, a keyboardist who released leftfield works after going solo following a rock/funk band in Leningrad, Soviet Union. Although he hadn’t released a full album, the unique style had been quietly garnering attention, as evidenced by the release of a compilation album in 2020. Side A features homemade-style inorganic dreamy track “И Грустно И Смешно” with irresistibly tangled electronic sounds, while Side B with “Витражи,” a cosmic electronic piece woven from creaking synth and organ tones. Rare first release with butterfly sleeve.
ソ連レニングラードのロック/ファンクバンドを経てソロ転向後には先鋭的なレフトフィールド作品をリリースしていた鍵盤奏者Anatoly Fomin。アルバムのリリースこそないものの2020年にはコンピレーションアルバムがリリースされるなどその趣向は密かに注目を浴びていました。本作は三枚のシングルが確認されている内の一枚となる初作。A面にはもつれるような電子音もたまらないホームメイドな無機質ドリーミー”И Грустно И Смешно”、B面いっぱいには軋むようなシンセ/オルガンの音色が織り成すコズミック・エレクトロニクス”Витражи”を収録。稀少なファースト蝶々スリーブ。
